Welcome to Lord Hardwicke's
Established in 1970, Lord Hardwicke's in Charlottesville has prided itself as being your home away from home. We believe in creating a comfortable environment and providing a friendly staff to make your dining experience one to remember. After all we are a locally owned family restaurant and you will truly will be considered family when you are here.

Our expansive menu is designed to satisfy everyone and if you can't find something there check out our daily specials!  We take pride in our food and menu and will go that extra mile to accommodate anyone's special dietary needs.    We believe fresh is best! With ingredients coming in daily everything is fresh and when possible from other local businesses.  At Lord Hardwicke's we still make it from scratch!  From our hand cut steaks to our homemade soups & sauces, and of course everyone's favorite the homemade desserts. Our beer selections are ever changing and we try to keep local breweries on tap with some of Virginia's own special brews.  Have a suggestion on beer?  Our bartenders love the feedback from our patrons, let us know what you would like to see at your favorite bar.

In 2008 our second location opened in Greene County south of Ruckersville on 29N. This location let us expand our offerings as well incorporate new amenities that were hard to accomplish in our Charlottesville location. We added a lighted outdoor seating area for 50, HDTVs and WIFI.  Though a newer facility it still has the family friendly atmosphere that everyone has come to love about us.

Lord Hardwicke's is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.  Join us on Sunday's for Brunch served from 11-2.  So whether you're grabbing a bite to eat or just grabbing a beer and catching the game. Lord Hardwicke's friendly staff will be waiting to serve you.
